The drag chain test made out of our equipment certifies the cable capacity for bending along the chain path
The movement patterns are tell you the classic trapezoidal course profile for reflecting the stress placed on the cable in the Customer’s application. The cable is certainly subject to bending movement through trolleys that run at high speed on precision guides, powered by cogged belts. It is possible to test up to 4 chains at the same time with the same gear, with a wt drag chain pulling capacity up to 3000 N
The test parameters (traversing distance, acceleration time, optimum speed and number of cycles) are adjustable and settable by means of a touchscreen panel. Through the test cycle, the cables are checked by an exterior measuring system: in the event of cable break, the corresponding counter stops and the machine continues to operate and test the remaining samples until their final break (this program can be modified based on the requirements).
